While searching for a description of our sound, Sharon realized that Roast Beast is "music to get drunk and pick up chicks to." Since we thought someone must be able to describe us better, we asked our friends.

We were recently voted one of the "Best New Bands of 1998" by First Avenue & 7th Street Entry!! We played with fifteen other bands in a three day showcase in the Entry.

Our song, "No Accident," is on the Pulse magazine release, "Twin Town High Music Yearbook Volume 2."

We have played several shows around the midwest region, and we'll continue playing in and around the Twin Cities. We have plans to do a longer tour in late summer to coincide with our first full-length release in spring 2000.This will be recorded at the Motherland in South Minneapolis this summer, taking to task during the sweatiest time of year in Minnesota.
Of late Roast Beast participated in the 4th annual cover band contest @ 1st ave & 7th st entry hosted by al grande on 1/31/00. Out of 12 bands, 3 were selected as the winners. Their all-Helmet set won them half a case of Night Train!
